Dad was moved out of ICU yesterday. He is in a regular pulmonary room, the number is S614.
Dad ordered a big breakfast this morning and ate almost all of it! He is getting his appetite back!
He is showing off pictures of his grandkids! Mom said the nurse will start skipping his room because he is talking about them so much. He wants to get better to come home to them.
Dr's came by and made a comment about it being sealed when he coughed. (I'm guessing they didn't see any bubbles in the fountain when he coughed...?) They ordered the fountain to be turned down even more. Great news!! He has the lower intake oxygen tube on now also.
The PT came by and made him get up and walk around today. He did so well.
His attitude has changed so much. I think a lot has to do with the fact he is past the point that he slipped back and got worse last time.
