Thursday night update

Tonight Jim is doing well. He is still exhausted from the events of the day. He is still in ICU because he is requiring IV medication to keep his blood pressure in the normal range. He has been having problems with it being too low. As long as he is on this  IV drip he will have to stay in ICU. We do not know any plans regarding the chest tube and pneumothorax yet as they have been focusing on the new problem of hemoptysis, however at this point it appears the bleeding has resolved.

edit:   9:30PM CDT Martha reported that she finally got back in to see him after visiting hours started back up and he had the TV on!  Sounds and looks like he's feeling much better.  In case you're wondering, he's blowing a kiss to all of us, not making a duckface!
